Mann, these episodes(1018-1020) were the best in terms of story progressesion. The previous canon cases didn't have much storyline progression.

Agreed Akai-san! Was excited throughout all 3 eps, awesome to see more progression especially related to the Akai family.

from the 1960's to 2000 the general industry income from outside of Japan was barely 30% of the overall sales and cash coming into the studios, publishers, manufacturers of merch and other incomes like streaming licensing etc. that's not technically a yearly average but a decade-by-decade average of the studies of various publicized financial reports from companies corporations and such.

post 2000 up to 2020 that income from foreign sources has jumped to 40% and continues to climb yearly now instead of over a decade. the pre-2000 income percentage barely 'wobbled' upwards at all.

well, we can imagine that the suspect noticed that the professor touched the plate and erased the prints, but I agree that they should try/explain.

Whenever there's major plot progression, the actual episode takes a backseat. It's like the writers can't fit both a good murder plot and a BO plot in the same episode. lol

Ignoring what you said about Agasa's finger prints, when Sera explained the problem of flipping the discs 180 degrees all I could think of was "not shit?". The fact that nobody else in this show noticed such an obvious solution right away was sad. There were two obvious solutions to this case and nobody thought about it despite both Akai and Conan being there. Like reallyy Aoyama?

The only reason this took 3 episodes is because everyone has been seriously distracted with everything but the case. 😆

So the entire trick was just about that they positioned the trays in the wrong way from the beginning, and it took 3 episodes to realize that... Also nobody realized till the end that the one tray they were after had Agasa professors fingerprints on it...

You do noticed that each one of them are distracted with another thing right? Sera trying to find the cure, Subaru trying to find out what happen to their mother and keep Sera from finding the truth, Conan and AI trying to keep Sera from finding the truth too and got distracted a lot by Sera nagging. Making they didn't noticed the obvious things make it more real, since a distracted person tend to missed obvious things.
